    How Much$$$$$$$

    Were all leavin today to go on a pheasent hunt in west texas,theres 8 hunters. How much should we tip the outfitter,weather the hunt's good or bad? Thanks guys!

    as a goose/ duck guide I got anywhere from 20-50 per hunter per day.

      If he is good and he is taking all of you together.25.00 a day per person. total 200.00 this maybe be low. I would also like to see what the going rates are.

          Were goin to knox city texas to stanfield hunting outfitters were givin 225.00$ for 5 trophy ring necks 3 meals and 1st class lodging? Sounded reasonable to us?

            Santa Ana is 200 a day and they put out so many per hunter plus Chukkar and even a few Melanistic if you want'em.Plus you can kill whatever has been left in the feilds from previous hunters so it is a non-stop hunt from the time you get into the feild till the sun sets no limits an the birds you kill!

              I forgot to mention the Melanistic birds do cost extra
              but someone else paid for ours and didn't kill'em!!

                              I have never hunted nonwild birds. I'm sure it just as fun,and probably more birds than some areas. I have allways hunted them in the Panhandle of Texas. I can hunt them up there for free. I have family there and worked on a 52,000 acre ranch that is covered up with them. One of the best keep secrets in the world of bird hunting. More Quail and Pheasent on that ranch than you can shake a stick at.....
