I have one and have used it for years, no issues. Get the hooded one, and make sure to use the paddles/samples to determine the correct power for your vision.

I just had one put on...

a couple of weeks ago. It is the BOMB! I haven't used my bow in about 5 years for the same reasons as you. Once I found out about a verifier, I had to try it. Best decision I ever made.

I've lost one before. Since I use one small drop of vibra-tite VC-3 on threads or bow string wax on the threads and haven't had one come loose since.

So the hooded one helps keep the glare off and y'all use the 1/4" for hunting.
