Why did you buy a new bow?

The title says it all. Why did you buy your most recent bow?

Do you buy a new bow every year/couple of years just to keep your equipment fresh?

Did you feel like your previous setup was no longer cutting it?

Was there some type of new technology that intrigued you?

    Because you can?

Because I didn’t own a bow and wanted a new one. Last bow I had I was 16 yrs old and was a youth bow.

Just wanted a new one. Last one was 8yrs old. I still shoot the '07 as much as the '14. I've been bowhunting for 17 yrs (bow only for 9 yes) and have only owned 4 bows, one that I never set up. I've only hunted with 3. I find what I like and stick with it.

I will always keep my first to pass on. I hope one of my girls will be able and willing to use it. Any further purchase will be because of wanting.

Cable guard broke on an old hoyt and they didn't carry the replacement part anymore.

I keep them as long as it’s still doing its job effectively

I got a new one because the one I was shooting wasn't actually mine. A friend bought it for his girlfriend and the draw weight was too high for her. He told me to shoot as long as I wanted. Got a couple bonuses at work and had the extra money for a new one.

Kinda like when you buy a new truck cause it needs new tires. Lol

Went from a Hoyt Alpha Max to a Hoyt Defiant. Glad I did.
