Started saving for the first pot of squirrel and dumplings this morning. Walked across the street and into the woods with the pellet guns, the neighbor and I scored an even ten, found nine. It was a little warm, but surprisingly few skeeters, and the tree rats were on the move. This is one of a half-dozen properties within 5 minutes of the house that we secured permission to hunt last year, and is literally across the road from our houses.
