    Recommend me some tires: F250

Need some new shoes. Currently running Mastercraft Courser AXT which is an all terrain. It's the same tire as the Cooper AT3. I got right at 50,000 out of them. I'm looking for a little more aggressive tread on this set.

I know a lot of folks run Toyo's, Nittos, etc but I'm not convinced you get what you pay for when you buy those boutique brand tires. There's only 5 or 6 actual tire makers in the world and a bunch of different labels they produce. I'm looking at the Mastercraft (cooper) Courser MXT, Nitto Trail Grappler, Cooper STT Pro, and the Maxxis Razr MT.

Not interested in Toyo's because I know there are better or equal tires for less money.

What are ya'll running? 35-12.50R17 Load Range E.

I've got 50k on some BFG KO2s on mine, going to need new ones soon. I'll go back with them.

Check out the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I just put a set on my 150 and love them.

More important than load range is tire index. Some of those tires you are interested in probably don't index correctly for your 250. That said, have you looked into Nitto Ridge Grappler? They're relatively new. They're hybrid tires with aggressive sidewalk but built like a road tire for comfort on-road driving.

LOL. Let us know when you find a mud tire that will run over 70k miles on a 3/4 ton diesel... I will buy them next.

I'm running 295/70/18 nitto trail grapplers on my ram 2500. I have right at 40,000 miles on them and probably will get another 10 to 15k out of them. They are great in mud and good in the rain. I love the nitto trail grapplers but my next set will be cooper stt pro's.

There are ALOT more than 5-6 tire manufacturers in the world but you are correct that one factory may produce multiple different brands.

I can tell you not to run the Kumho AT51 didn't last on my f250. Not sure why you are so against Toyo but you should at least look at the new open country r/t. It's the cross between their a/t and m/t. I just stuck a set on my truck and multiple sets on friends trucks

                  This.
Toyo MT hard to beat. I will prolly try RT next on one of my trucks.

I put Cooper ST Maxx on mine. The Toyos were just getting too expensive. I'm very happy so far but only have about 17k miles on them.

I just bought the Nitto trail grapplers and like them so far. They look pretty mean on my F250.

I'm with you. I've run 37" and now 38" and get an average of 70k per set.

We run Cooper ATPs at work, and I have been impressed with them. The ATP is a very aggressive all terrain. Moreso than the at3 but very little road noise.
