    Doe with giant lump....

Tell me what you think is wrong with this doe if at all. Yes she had fawns and yes she is drawn down. She was abnormally, some say excessively, large with her fawns and shrank some of course once they hit the ground. I've noticed what looks like a huge lump on her right side as seen in the pics below as she has gotten drawn down more and more.....especially in pic #3.

We have been incredibly fortunate with rain this year and the place has been green most of the summer. She is the only doe I have at both feedpens with her ribs showing.

    What ya think?

Sorry for the grainy pics. These were pulled from my wireless Covert the last few days.

Weird and skinny looking for sure, have no clue as to what it is though.

I got one that would shut the grinder down.....Dolly P has been around for several years and raises a fawn each year...

I don't have an explanation for yours or mine, but makes me gag a little thinking about running a knife across either one of their abnormalities.....

The second one looks like chronic mastitis or a breast tumor.

maybe so, they are pics of pics so some of the image quality has been compromised. Her dangle down is pretty ugly though when seen in person.

Whatever it is, looks like its in her chest cavity. Her ribs are pushed out as well. Possibly shes been hitting the bottle too hard and her liver is going. I'd be shocked to see her make it another season. In for the necropsy results if she gets on the ground.

Either one will be, and in the pics you can see that it is already ulcerative. I am surprised she is letting a fawn nurse.

Looks like a soft tissue tumor. If it is it will probably be terminal.

Yes. It's a 55 yard x 35 yard goat wire pen. That camera has another 1/3 of the pen behind it.
