    Tuning question

Arrow does not seem to fly syraight. Nock end either high low or left or right. Had bow tuned last season. What is the deal?

So what's the arrow doing? Porpoising (up down), fishtailing (side to side), or both?

Is this through paper or how it ends up in the target?

Shoot it through tight paper 10' away or so and we can tell you from there. What kind of cam system do you have? May be that your cams are out of timing. Could be making contact with the rest... lots of things it could be.

What's your draw length and weight? What arrow spine and length? What weight head on the arrow? What fletching? What arrow rest? What release? Loop?

Its a drop away rest. Shooting 5575 arrows with 100 grain heads. 29" dl at 70lbs. This was all set up by tech at kerens. Just pulled paper work. Guess it was 3 yrs ago. How often you get them tuned?

I check my tune almost anytime i shoot. For me if my bh and fp hit together, its still tuned. Prolly dealing with string stretch.

A Mathews with single cam and 3 year old strings and cables definitely can stretch. You need to check the timing on the bow and also the rest. Make sure it is setting at the right spot in the draw cycle. Shoot through paper and see what that is like. I would make sure bow is in spec, timed right, and rest is functioning properly. Then go from there.

The 5575 arrows are a little weak, but I bet the rest is not timed correctly.
