Ok so I’m hunting Sunday morning and a coon comes to the feeder early so I shoot him.
I go down and get my arrow, and get back in my stand. And 30 min later this is my view.
good sit so far. 9:00 comes and I get out of my stand to go find the raccoon, I’m following the blood trail that he so graciously left for me to follow. I reach down to flip a leaf over that has some blood on it and I look up 3’ in front of me is this guy!
So my response to this sight was JUMP backwards as far and as fast as I could all while screaming like a little girl! Once I regained my composure I snapped the photo. Then I thought to grab my pistol and shot him. I used the broken arrow That I shot the coon with to pick up the snake
. He was just over 4’ long.
So y’all please be careful when out in the woods because obviously it is still warm enough out for the snakes.
