New processor in Odessa, TX, Whitehouse

I am not sure if you area hunters are aware. Whitehouse Meat Market has closed their shop on 52nd street.

The Whitehouse on 191 will remain open. The cool thing is the 52nd place will be transformed into a wild game processing place. If you live in this craphole of an area of west Texas you will jump for joy.

The only other place is Naturally Fresh in Midland and they suk monkey turds on pricing and processing. If and "if" is a big thing here, Whitehouse does things the way I imagine them, it should be top quality stuff. We shall see.

Watch their FB posts as they get ready to open, more then likely this month

Naturally Fresh is the biggest crock of a "processor" Ive ever seen. Their prices are as much or more than some really solid processors in the San Angelo area and they don't even cook anything. Had to smoke your own sausage, cook your summer sausage, pay extra for them to add beef/pork fat to your ground meat. Total crap. Hopefully Whitehouse is a better option and it would be nice if they offered the Hunters for the Hungry also.

J' Processing on 377 is pretty good.

We usually use Owen's Processing in Ballinger since it's kind of on the way back to Midland from Eden. He has good prices and does a good job, but his euro mount work is what is really good and he takes care of you if you give him solid businesses (doesn't usually charge us for donations, and he'll always cape and cold store anything we need sent to the taxidermist since I use the taxi he works for in the offseason).

The one I've really been impressed with lately is B&K in Bronte. I had a fallow done and my friends have had axis and addax done there that was phenomenal. They do great specialty items like seasoned roasts (puts beef roasts to shame), fajita cuts from backstrap, summer sausage, etc. Not too bad on pricing, but you'll want their specialty items and you'll wind up spending some coin.
