Knocking the rust off

After a long off season, I was ready to get in a tree stand opening morning. I have a target buck that I am after, but after a very close call with him (had him at 10 yards, but got winded), I settled for a Doe to get the confidence going.

I saw her fall about 75 yards from the shot, but decided to go get my Silver Lab Pearl to see if she remembered any of her training. I have done nothing with her in about a year. After a little sniffing and peeing she got right on the trail found her in no time.

Now its time to get back on my target buck.
