    A friend and I checked his camera similar to that last year, and when he went to open it, his finger poked through. In his case, it was a few years old and brittle from the elements.

          Lol. Y'all are cracking me up.

          The camera was 3 feet from the ground. It is hard to see it in the photo, but it is clearly bitten, pinched, and there is a scrape mark from the teeth.

                              I have mine about 6' off the ground with a snazzy lag bolt lookin thingy and another bolt lookin thingy with the camera mounted to it all. It'll work on any tree/angle/dangle...

                              Hogs and cows can't touch it...
