best BBQ in SA in driving distance of 1604/281

Going to be down there mid-week for a conference at the JW Marriott and wanted to take a few coworkers and clients to some good BBQ. Any recommendations in that area that's not Bill Miller?

Nothing wrong with Bill Millers, they are probably the most successful BBQ restaurants in Texas if not the south.

Yup can't go wrong. You'll find them all around town. If you see tons of utility trucks in the parking lot during lunch and the dining room full of hard working men, your in the right place.

Not saying I've never ate at Bill Millers but there are much better options out there.

BBQ Station, Smoke shack, two bros are all solid options. I grew up close to bbq station and it’s always been a reg stop for me.

I've eaten at Bill Millers plenty of times. I usually get the fried chicken or chicken fried steak when I go. Those + their sweet tea is great. I also like their potatoes.
