    Excellent Service Report

After nearly 2 years of continuous use my Leaf River developed a problem. It would still take pics but the flash wouldn't work.

The wire that goes from the battery compartment to the camera in the front panel had bare wires showing (from the door being opened so many times) and I suspected this was the problem.

Well I called LR, described the problem & the age the camera, received a return # and sent it in expecting a call back with an estimate.

Well I get home today, 10 days after I sent it in and my camera is back repaired free of charge.

LR has gone above and beyond in my eyes.

They have several models that are on either side of $300. Thats more that some but not as much as a Cudde.

As I said above, the one has been out non-stop for nearly 2 years at a feeder, it has averaged close to 200 pics a week the whole time and will go 6 months on a set of batteries with no solar panel.

My only complaint has bee trigger time but they have a model now that claims the fastest trigger time.

Rob the highest priced model is the 6.3MP unit at retail $329, the IR model retails for $299 and I believe the lowest priced model is around $249 @ 2MP.

          Check them out at www.myleafriver.com

Their IR model will be my next. Noticed they also have a IR unit that can be added for greater IR flash distance.

The new IR unit takes much better daytime pics than the older models. I have one of each and the older models take daytime pictures that look pink, but the newer model takes pretty good pictures. The night time pics are still grainy, but it will get the job done.

I'm going to purchase 1 or 2 of the booster units and see if it helps. Chasingame seems to think that it does.

I bought the 3BUIR this is the new inferred camera. The photos are great. I just send mine back and I am awaiting its return. I had a problem with the sensitivity on it. When I called them they gave me a return# and told me to ship it back and they would take care of it. So for me so far so good. I can not wait till I get it back and give it another try.

William post how it works for you when you get it back. I have 3 Recon Talons that were good in the beginning but sensitivity sucks now for whatever reason.

I will do it but it may take some time. I have been very busy at work with no slow down time on the horizion.
