No shots today but all is well.

We saw some deer today but no arrows were launched.
So blessed to have made it to another opening day with my brother and dad. Good food and Red Raider football will get us thru until morning. Just great to be out here again. It’s tough wondering how many more years we have with our dad. Good luck to all.

Enjoy it!!!! None of us are promised tomorrow.

I'd never shoot another deer again if I could hunt with my dad and brother again.

They are bacon wrapped jap/cheese chopped steaks from Klein Smokehaus in Boerne.

I have reverse engineered those jap and cheese chopped steaks from Klein's and we make about 40lbs a year....Dang good grazing for sure.

Our red raiders looked good tonight failure to score from the red zone and failure to capitalize on a few key turnovers cost the game tonight. That and I think ol Kliff should have gone for it on that fourth down late in the 4th quarter

Mike Leach would have won that game. Headed out to get in the blinds.
63 degrees and clear skies here in Junction. Wind is dead calm. See what walks out.

Without a doubt Leach would have won that game.

                        Good luck this weekend.
