These things are getting bold.
Went to check game cameras today, parked my truck to check the first game camera no more than 30 yards from the road. Got out, closed the door, locked the truck which honked the horn (I was not trying to be quiet). Got my AR and started walking, got 5 steps inside the fence and a pig takes off, I pause for just a second and hear it making its way through the woods and then continue. I grab the card and I hear a couple more walking around so I decide to get in the stand for a second to upload the 200 pics (all of which were pigs but 2). I get in the stand, once again not even trying to be quiet and no more than 30 seconds later there are 2 pigs walking around the outside of the plot. Put my AR up and take a shot as they are walking, couldn't tell if I hit it or not, it either crashed or ran into the creek out of sight. Finished uploadeing pics and am headed back to my truck and I can hear another walking around about 20 yards thru the brush.
Usually if I'm making noise they don't come around but today they were all over the place. One of them has piglets so maybe that's why they are not leaving the area. I have decided to use no corn this season, not even hand corn until I get a feeder pen up. Is anyone else having this problem? Are they getting more bold or is it just mine? I don't eat them but have gave them away in the past, I'm just scratching my head. They are going to ruin my season.
