    School me on handheld releases

For some reason, and I don't know why, handheld releases have peake my interest. What I have gathered I'd trigger releases your supposed to pull through until the trigger is fired. Back tension you somehow pull through and have to kinda rotate. And resistance activated releases you have set a little higher than the let off and you just pull through. Which is best for hunting?

I can’t “school” you on them but I use one and I will probably never go back to a wrist strap release!!

I remember the moment I got home after I bought it I took a shot at 40 yards and it was absolutely money!!!

To the OP, it will feel a little awkward on the first couple of draw cycles but once you get used to it at least in my case I am able to draw my bow way more fluently!

I use a bass pro blackout three finger release, it is a trufire that is sold to bass pro and bass pro puts their paint and name on them to sell in their stores.

Be sure to shoot some Carter's, preferably those with a closed loop so you can hook up and leave it there. I own a couple of Chocolate Addiction four-
fingers and just don't ever see myself doing anything else. Personally, I hold the weight better and have a more repeatable anchor with one but that's just me.

Switched 2 years ago and I will never go back. Saw a slight increase in accuracy. I use a Carter Target 3.
