To put up a pop up blind? Just got on a new lease and it is not set up for now hunting. Thought about putting up a pop up. Always heard it needs to be up for a while so deer get used to it.

It definitely needs to be there a while to have a decent chance at a deer.

I would realistically wait about an hour before I expected deer to show up. Anything sooner could happen but might be wishful thinking.

I don't brush in pop ups very often. Deer seem to be used to it pretty quick... Most of the time within a day or two.

Not too late. I hunt public, so that's my only option if I'm not in a stand. You'll be fine putting it up.

I only leave my pop up out very short term, as cows seem to covet my blinds
And the wind is constantly changing, so I am spur of the moment

Just missed the biggest buck of my 40 year hunting life a couple of hours after setting up and it was barely brushed inside
