Breakfast this morning

Got up early this morning to get coffee and breakfast going while I waited for LDP's to start rolling in. Tried something new that turned out great. Sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese jalapeño poppers. I'll definitely be doing these again! Good luck to all in the deer pasture this weekend, and safe travels.

1/4lb of raw breakfast sausage, 3 strips of bacon (slightly cooked and chopped), 3 raw eggs, chopped green onion, a handful of grated cheddar cheese, and crumpled saltines to firm up mixture. Use seasoning of your choice. I used Slap Ya Mama.

Mix together in a bowl and stuff into hollowed jalapeños. Baked at 350F for 30-40 minutes or until look done enough.

Yep, those have treestand blowout written all over them.

They do look really good, though.

We make these at the ranch as an appetizer before dinner, I never thought to make a batch for breakfast. A couple of these with biscuits and a good jelly would be awesome.
