You want to hear something crazy.....in China that shell dried and ground up into a powder is worth about $5,000-$7,000 USD. At least that what I have been offered for one full shell if I can get it there. The rich buy it to cure serious skin ailments. (I understand the irony with leprosy). One mans trash......
