I got a quote from action marine already but want to see if there is anybody on here for second quote ...looks like I need tilt trim motor..starter..carb..ignition switch

I am a Johnson brp mechanic and I can tell you first-hand your priority is to just put a new starter on and crank that motor over enough to get all the moisture out and fire it up run it on the hose enough to save the motor
A rebuilt starter would be like a hundred bucks and take 10 minutes to swap out and you can at least get it running and I would drain the lower unit and refill

Thanks..I was wondering what I could do myself but have no experience with boats...they want 200 for starter motor and 90 to install
