When does the season start where you are at?

never ends - as of now I'm just protecting his Hay Meadow from swine. Thought I saw one, black and white spotted, about 10:40 last night.
He was to the right of that big tree in the distance.
As I attempted to turn the intensity of my scope mounted light up to positively ID it, He either ambled of to the other side of the fence or ran off.
About 1130pm I checked my 2 cameras by the tree.
Glad I had my flashlight with me this time. There's a Skunk that hangs out around that area. I see it every time I go out. He was by the 1st wooden post to the right of the tree. I've got a camera on that post. I had to wait for him to amble off. I did hear some Coyotes. I was hoping they'd come in. I get pictures regularly of one by the tree.
As I was checking the camera facing the tree I did see the black boar on camera behind the tree to the left side of it about 10:30 pm.
I scanned tree and fence line at 10:15 than again at 10:40 pm.
Being mostly cloudy last night it was hard to see well. Also there's tall grass in the pasture behind the tree along with cows. There was 6 behind the tree as I was checking the Cameras. Which was unusual cause they generally move to the front of the Pasture about 745 PM..... Kinda glad I didn't get the shot opportunity.

I'm thinking of putting a stand in that tree. Not sure if it'll be a hang on, Ladder or ??

Just excited to be hunting so close to the house.
10 minute drive.
I've hunted more these past 2 weeks than I have in the last 20 years combined.
It is more awesome than words can expound on.
But with us being fellow hunters I don't know that many words are needed.

My Grandpa loved it, me not so much.
He'd eat it try and kiss us on the cheek or forehead.

He died when I was 13ish, he's been dead 33 years now.
Mom and dad divorced when I was 7 or 8.
Dad never came to get us like he was supposed too, so I haven't gotten a sauer kiss in 39 years now.
