Question for the Taxidermist

What do y'all use to degrease skulls and how long do you degrease? I've had a pig skull in a solution now for about a 4 days and it still seems to have some stained spots. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

On a hog or bear about 2 months. Thats according to my daught, who does all kinds of skulls and full skeletons.

Wow, I never would have guessed that long. Does she have any recommendations on what removes the grease the best? Right now I'm using dawn and borax
