    Spitfire Heads??

Ok, I'm a fixed head kinda guy. I have shot Muzzy Phantoms for years with great success. That being said, I'm red green color blind and sometimes blood trails are hard for me to follow. Last night I had dinner at a friends house who has been the game manager for a 9000ac ranch for a few years. Obviously, they have to shoot a lot of deer and he loves to bow hunt. He uses the 100gr SF heads and swears they have never had a failure and the blood trail is unbelievable. We are talking about 100 plus kills between the hunters. He sounded like a NAP rep selling me on the heads.

    What say you GS

I've heard good things about them. But just like any other over the top mechanical, your hoping for that exit hole, make a good shot and all will be well. I have 3 of the 2" version I'll sell for cheap if you'd like to try them

Spitfires are the first mechanical head I ever used. I never had any failure with them. Shot exactly same as my field points. I still carry them in my quiver along with rage heads.

That's my top choice for a mechanical for both compound and crossbow. Work great on elk and deer. Haven't tried them on pigs. Prefer using NAP Hellrazor's on them.

I have shot two deer with them and was very impressed with the results.

I've used them, one of my fave mechanicals. Nasty/short blood trails in my experience. They fly great too.

Another satisfied user here. They even fly well when shot through camo mesh/screen. My favorite mechanical broad head.

They are great heads. The NAP Killzone uses the same blade clip retention and opens on impact like a Rage. They are very nasty as well!

They are great broad heads for sure. Shot them exclusively for many years. They are my second favorite mechanical head.
