Other than fried, how else do you cook backstrap?

Mesquite wood, season with uncle Chris steak seasoning, make sure that grill is piping hot. Sear on each side, enjoy!! This is my favorite way to cook em, simple yet so delicious.

Wrapped in pepper bacon, seasoned with fresh ground pepper and Lawry's Seasoned Salt, and cook 3 or 3.5 minutes on a side over a hot charcoal (NOT GAS GRILL) fire. Enjoy.

I also infrequently make chicken fried steak with the large end--running it thru this "machine" before flouring and seasoning and frying in bacon greasel

Marinate in Newman's Own Family Recipe Italian, drain well, then grill. Careful with the olive oil on the grill as it can flash if it gets too hot.

Cook 6ā€-8ā€ sections whole. Dust lightly with Saltgrass Seven Seasoning and Lowry’s seasoned pepper. Grill over HOT mesquite to an IT of 125, let rest and slice.

Love it fried, but grilled over a wood fire is the best!! Don't overcook!

Made some just yesterday. A little olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Cook to medium rare over mesquite!! Nothing to it!! DO NOT overcook venison is extremely lean and dries out fast!!

Yes sir, all you gotta do is get the outside seared and your golden. Just had some nilgai backstrap like this two weeks ago and it was amazing!

We marinate in spicy mustard, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Then sprinkle on garlic powder and pepper, grill on a hot fire. Cook to medium rare. It's good

I tenderize and season it just like a steak and grill to medium rare. Nothing fancy but it tastes good.

Thanks. I just can't bring myself to do fried.

What do you serve with it?

I'm thinking some dirty rice and vegetable.

Any ways to cook sliced back straps in a skillet or crockpot or oven? I unfortunately don't have access to a grill right now but I have about 10 pounds of backstrap. Looking for another way to cook it besides fried.
