    Is it just me or does it look like there is a huge buck standing in the distance above the does in the second picture. Whatever it is it's not in the first!

      Definitely a great old buck up close.

      May be on to something regarding distant image. Something there in front of dark tree trunk in second pic that is not in same spot on first pic.

          Plenty old enough. Overall body condition looks pretty well though. No telling what the rut will do to him. That's one of those bucks that hopes the Winter isn't too harsh. He is to the point where he is as good as he will ever be in a free range setting.

                                Could be. I didn't see it the first time I looked,but there is sure something there. Perhaps that is what he is looking at.
