    What broadhead would you use?

I drew for the general archery deer or exotics at the LRGV- Teniente for 11-16-19.
I can shoot 2 whitetail, one buck, unlimited nilgai/hogs.

I'm shooting a PSE Bow Madness 30 29/70# shooting Easton 6mm FMJs with a total weight of 460 grains at 280 fps with 125 grains field points.

    My quiver holds 6 arrows.

Out of these 4 broadheads, what would you have in your quiver?

    Ramcat Diamondback 125
    Ramcat Original 125
    Grim Reaper Carni-4 100
    Rage 2-blade 100

I'm not buying any more broadheads! Just curious as to what you would use.

Ramcat Original would be my choice from what you have listed.

Ramcat original. I took a shot that I do not like taking on this red deer. A hard quartering to shot. I would not have considered that shot with any of the other broadheads you listed.

You can see the entry wound in the front of the shoulder. He went about 50 yards.

If you want to take 6 arrows I would use the Reaper carni-4. I love the original Ramcat but they are very difficult to get in my quiver. I can only get 3 of them in my 6 arrow quiver. Tips of the blades hit the hood.

Original ram cat if those aren't only choices. I'd rather not shoot any of them if nilgai is an option.

Wow! Nice stag! Did you have a pass through?

Not a chance. It smacked the front shoulder, but it went in about 10-12" from what I saw. I had blood up 18" on the arrow, but I think some of that was splatter from the impact.

Did the blade fold back or do extra damage with the back cut?

My arrow broke when he ran into a tree. It left about 10" of arrow in him, but we never found it. We had 2 other stags shot that day, so we kind of forgot about it. The top of the heart looked like it was ran through a blender though. I assume it did some damage while it was in him.

You got a lot of juice with your setup. I wouldn't worry about anything with any head, just whichever head you got the most confidence in

                            But for my it'd be
                            Rage
                            Original ramcat
                            Carni
                            Diamondback

Anytime, I have shot a lot of animals (mainly hogs) with ramcats as well as other bhs. I have never had a bad result from the broadhead yet. It further sealed the deal with me to see the amount of penetration it got on a big animal and entrance being on the point of the front shoulder.
