    This works... wanted to share.

I used this technique last season and wished I'd known this sooner.

For years I was lifting straight up from behind atv... actually got a hernia one season from a giant body buck... even with a 2nd person, it would still be easier if both pulled up over the fender, they just slide right up. Hope you do 86! Good luck.

Wonder if I can do that with a 300lb+ hog.

        Good for Texas deer though.

It works. I figured that one about a few years ago after I got wore out trying to load a 250+ lb Illinois buck on a 4-wheeler by myself. I have used it since and I have yet to kill a deer that I couldn't load by myself..

Been there and tried that until I bought a little trailer that is the same width as my 4 wheeler that has a removable back gate and I can load almost anything and then put the back gate back on. It will and has hauled up to 10+ bags of corn when I use it to haul corn to fill feeders. A true back and life saver for me when no one else is at the lease to help me load something heavy.

This is pretty much the only way I have ever hauled deer out of the woods.. been doing it like this for 3o years. Its definitely not easy getting them up there. If its a buck, and he has big horns, I like to stand on the tire and pull him up by both horns using my biceps. Its much easier for the other deer and doe I just grab there back legs and drag em on up
