I have done several all day sits. First and foremost is pick the right weather and don't hunt a timed feeder. Free choice feeders or travel corridors, preferably travel corridors. Pack a dedicated lunch and variety of snacks. And plenty of water. I like to read but have a portable phone charger and ear phones to listen to games. Every couple hours stand and stretch. And bring Advil or aleve. Set hourly goals. Of looking for spotting some form of wildlife, be it deer, pig , squirrel or bird anything to pass boredom .
