Shot my firstbow yesterday

Killing time I happened upon a bow shop
Go in and just look around
Started with crossbow
Not for me
Then got on a couple Matthews
I'm a 30 length and pull 70lbs

What's a good used bow to start out with?

Of course the shop had some recommendations but they are all new and I'm not ready to drop $1500 on a kit that I'm not 100% sold will get used enough.

Any links for rigs in the classifieds?

I liked the xa-D rest

LoL I'll have to hide the bow from my uncles
They think bows are for "sissys"
But they think a lot of dumb stuff that I dont agree with but thats another topic...

For me its hard to say whats a good bow for a particular person. IMO it all comes down to what feels right. I would go back and ask to feel/draw several in the range you are willing to spend ( assuming they sell used bows ). For me, when I draw the "right" one, I know. But thats just me, others just buy the one that is the "cool" bow, or popular or looks cool or whatever. Hopefully others will chime in with their bow purchasing process.
