Changing out the programmer to spinner feeder

I have a feeder that is having wire issues that led from the timer. It's a wild game feeder spinner. I have a extra brand new game winner brand control unit. Do you think I can use the timer from the Game Winner with the Wildgame one?

It should work....
It's just a motor. Just quick connect the timer to the motor and the battery. I switch out timers all the time when they go bad.
