Brownsville TX dove hunt kinda sorta gunna try a live hunt

Left Tomball TX at 10pm tonight and headed to Brownsville TX now. Should be there by 4am according to iPhone GPS but to me it's a challenge accepted for early arrival. Not sure how it is but I have some buddies there now saying the morning hunt is really good. If anything the Miller lite will be good. I will let y'all green screeners know in the next few hours how it goes. Good luck to who ever is hunting in the morning.

No sir I believe it's Matthers ranch. I'm going for a wedding gift so I was told to just get in the truck and go haha I'll find out in the morning

Mathers is another big farming operation down there, you should have a great hunt with tons of birds.

Yes sir we're almost to the field now. I believe we're hunting on the rio grande next to a sun flower field. Heard there have been a good amount ring neck dove down here as well.

Ring neck dove are all over the place down here, it’s hard to find a field where you won’t shoot atleast a handful of em

Yes sir we made it to the motel at 330 this morning and laid down for two hours and got up and made perfect timing to the field

First spot we went to was alright, we moved to a different spot around 830 and 3 of us killed about 30 doves. A few we couldn't find. Hunt was great. Tons of white wing and only killed 1 ring neck
