    Indian artifacts ID books

Hey guys I'm looking for some good Texas artifacts ID books. I know several of you here hunt artifacts so I'm asking for opinions. If you had to buy a couple books to start off with, what would they be. Thanks

Stone artifacts by Turner and Hester. they have more Texas detail. Overstreets for general ID all over the US and a basic price guide.

Just checked the book in my office and it is:

A Field Guide to Stone Artifacts of Texas Indians (second edition)
by Ellen Sue Turner and Thomas R. Hester

Seems like a pretty good reference book all in all.

Garguy I found what may be a castroville with two broken ears. My stupid old phone won't usually post pics so I'm kind of limited in posting photos.

There is a group on facebook that is all about artifacts and some folks with what seems to be lots of knowledge to the table. They are really intolerant of modern imitations though.

Hesters book probably the best for Tx.

For a very well done picture book of Tx styles this one is very nice.
