Bought a 2 pack of stealth cams at Sams a couple of years ago. Paid $99 with batteries and cards. They have been very good.

I did the same thing a few years ago and bought one of those packs from Walmart. Figured, I'd give a Texas-based company some of my money. It was the end of the season and I didn't need it so, it sat in my closet for a few weeks. I found a use for it at home so, I opened it up, put fresh batteries and a card in it. Nothing. Wouldn't do squat.

The next day (Monday), I called Stealth Cam and told the woman my issue. She asked if I had the receipt. I did and she asked when I bought it. I looked and saw I had purchased the camera a month and one day before. The woman was QUICK to tell me in the pis*iest tone she could muster, "SIR! That product is no longer under warranty. There is a 30 day warranty and this is day 31." I told her how I can to get the camera and being, the 30th day was Sunday and they were closed, how was I to remedy the problem. Raised voice now, she said, "That isn't MY problem. You should have opened it sooner." I promptly told her I know lots of people and I would tell everyone I could about my experience. Also, that I'd never buy anything Stealth Cam made EVER again. She laughed and said, "Stealth Cam is suuuuuuure gonna miss you and your two imaginary friends." Then, she hung up on me.

It was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Not to mention, the only wording about the warranty was in the owner's manual. There was no way to know their stupid rules without digging online. I typed a polite letter about my experince and boxed up the camera, put the letter in the box and mailed it to them. I never heard back. Screw Stealth Cam.

a 30 day warranty. Anything less than one year is just stupid. Thanks for sharing I will continue to not purchase their brand.
