    Driver etiquette

Why have people gotten so sorry nowadays. Yesterday someone took out our mail box as well as our neighbors on both sides (5 total). It looked like they were pulling a trailer loaded with range cubes and mineral since there are several bags busted along the road. Looks like they got off the shoulder and the trailer slid into the ditch. They were in the ditch for at least 100 yards. Had to be air born for a little while as well since they crossed our neighbors raised entry road and knocked some decent size rocks around.
I was raised that if I had and accident and tore someones stuff up, I should contact them and fix or replace what I damaged. I spent several Sundays in my earlier days mending fences I had gone thru. I may have a lead on who it was as the feed was from a local store and the owner is supposed to be getting back with me today on anyone in the area who may have purchased the feed yesterday. Anyway, rant over

Etiquette of any kind is a lost art.

The Amazon delivery driver took out my brick mailbox. Finally got a check for $700 from their insurance company.

Our society as become one full of "din do nuffins" and an utter lack of taking responsibility. I hope you locate the suspect and he can be charges with something as well as pay for the damages

Most can't drive and chew gum at the same time. I also agree that " don't take responsibility for their actions".

I hear you. Same when someone bumps into your truck in a parking lot. If you ain't there they just leave.

I hit a guys barbed wire fence several years back. Got in touch with the land owner the next day. Went to fix it for him and he provided all the material and helped me put it back up. He even let me dove hunt his property that year for free. Best dove hunting I ever had. My truck was all scratched up, the landowner was just happy someone admitted to hitting it and fix it. Worked out well for us both.
