We adopted two boys now 27 and 28 when they were babies from Edna Gladney in Fort Worth. Ask about special needs kids which can range from mixed race (what we did) to unknowns about both birth parents to other special needs and our costs were just the legal and filing fees. It's been a wonderful experience.

I commend you for wanting to do it. It's dang hard at times, but I've got two bios and it ain't that much different! Parenting is hard period.
Edit: I guess I should say I am an attorney who does this kinda for a living and kinda for fun.Last edited by SMUMan02; 09-21-2017, 02:36 PM.

And God bless all you who have or want to adopt! When you get to heaven, you're cup will indeed be a little bigger than a lot of others... All our cups will be overflowing with peace, joy and love, but all our cups will not be the same size, so to speak... Y'all will be WAY above average!! Christ Himself readily pointed out that He had a special place in His heart "for the little ones"... Again, God Bless You all!!

This...look at casa. They're a good organization.
Family member did alot of volunteering with them and ended up adopting a few boys all were under 2 years old including a newborn

We are in the process of adopting. We have been on the journey for a few years.
The blog my wife keeps gives quite a bit of information. We are currently using Special Delivery out of Amarillo. They have recently opened a place in Lubbock. Generations Adoptions operates in Waco and Austin.
There are so many options and everyone has the perfect situation for you. There are a lot of places that will make tons of money off of you if you let them. Do your research.
We looked at private adoption, CPS foster to adopt, embryo adoption and different agency's.
If I can be of any help dont hesitate to reach out. Many will say they get it only a few that walk the infertility trail actually know where you come from.
