For striper around there I would say either Buchanan or Whitney

Lake Livingston has stripers and hybrids now. Several great guides around there. Conroe has hybrids. Even Somerville has hybrids but its still got ramps closed.

I checked Livingston. Guide said last years flood put a hurting on them. I can do Conroe myself but don't want hybrids.

Just called a guide on Whitney and it sounds good, But will check Buchanan and Rc as well.

Whitney has some good striper fishing this year. Not sure how they are biting right now, but we caught a lot this summer. Decent size but they are not huge. Lots of 5-8 pounders

Buchanan has always been good for stripers. Don't know any guides services there anymore.

I'd talk to TBHr BrandonA if your interested in Buchanan. If you can't book a trip with him, I'm sure he can point you in the right direction; he seems to really know that lake.

Heard Whitney is good and it's not to far from BCS. Been wanting to try it as well.

Had good luck at Buchanan three weeks ago. Get there early tho....... at 9 AM it was like someone flipped a switch and nothing happened. I think we caught 1 fish between 9 and 10 and nothing after 10.

For Buchanan contact my buddy Jackie Headrick @ 830-265-8633. He runs Empty Pockets Guide service. Tell him I sent. We took Riley and a couple of her friends out few weeks ago and did good.

I couldn't help but envision you misspelling striper and getting a completely different set of responses...
