I just built and wanted to go that route as well but I came into the process too late. I would suggest that you have your contractor pour concrete walls or at least a reinforced door jam. Most of the safe doors that I liked were a clam shell design and need a 7-12" thick door jam to mount in. I haven't had time to mess with this yet but ideally I am going to add steel beams to make a reinforced door jam. Golden Spike makes a good door, so does Amsec
