    All Terrain Tire Recommendations

Jeep Liberty Diesel 4x4 used as the everyday driver but also deer lease buggy.
Do you all have any recommendations on a tire that can be somewhat good in muddy conditions yet good road manners and fairly long-lasting on the street ?
Is there such a thing ? lol

    Thanks in advance !

Willing to bet you will be getting a few similar answers but mine would be

    Toyo Open Country A/T
    BFG KO2 A/T
    Cooper ATP

In that order as well. I have gotten well over 60K on every set of tires of those 3 brands and never had an issue in the mud and road noise was a minimum for me. I run a half ton if it makes a difference, that jeep liberty will be easy on a set of good tires like one of the above

Around here my neck of the woods people like BFG A/t . But we don't have deep mud
35000 on a set no problems with wear

I would look at the Cooper ST Maxx, pretty aggressive tire and still run smooth. I had a buddy run them on a 5.9 cummins pulling a load everyday and he loved them

Not sure how heavy that diesel is, but BFG's always been good to me on a 3/4 ton diesel. I am going to give Goodyear Duratracs a shot next. I had good luck with them on my half ton.

Here's one you probably won't hear but is a great tire and cheap....Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Check them out. I paid just under $700 mount, balance, and tax out the door for these on my new F150 with 275/65r20's. I have 8000 miles on mine so far and love them. They are a great looking tire, plenty aggressive, quiet, ...and way cheaper than the Nitto's, Cooper's and Toyo's I've ran in the past. I'm now a fan.

The new Toyo R/T is GREAT

Have put them on a bunch of trucks and no complaints-I will be putting a set on my truck next week

                  Cooper AT or Hankook Dynapro

Those are the only two we will buy on our large fleet anymore. Sorry but the BFGs are junk compared to those two.

                      All Terrain Tire Recommendations

General Grabber AT2. Affordable and 60k mile warranty. I've got a set on my work ride and I've got over 70k miles on them with about 35% tread left. Had some on a Tacoma before these. Great tire.

I personally like Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. Great on the road and in mud.

I love my Nitto Ridge Grappler. It's not a True All Terrain though. I believe Nitto markets it as a hybrid. It's a mix between an all terrain and a mud tire. It's super quiet on the road, and seems to be pretty tough against rocks, it does ok in mud too.
