    Fan for blind?

Alright what do y'all recommend for a fan in your blind? I bought a krivoman blind which I love, but I sat in it yesterday for the first time to watch deer and shot them with a camera. I almost made that thing into a swimming pool with sweat... so I want a portable fan.I know ryobi makes one also ameristep. There both battery operated I'm just worried about noise. I'm sure it won't be too terrible but like to see what other have done. Thanks

I would recommend a vent in your Krivo if you don't already have one and have the fan force the air out the vent.

You can look into building a redneck a/c. I built one last year but never did get actually use it. Seemed very loud to me, but maybe I did something wrong...

Google Solar Roof Fan. There are tons of them and would probably work.

I have the Ryobi. The reason I got it was to use it with the redneck air conditioner I made. I haven't hunted with it yet, but I think if it's too loud I'll just switch it to low. That doesn't seem too loud for hunting purposes. I would think you could try one out in any Home Depot to check the sound level for yourself.

Also open all the blind windows a couple of hours ahead of time if you can so it can it can cool off.

I bought two fans last year that run off D batteries, got them online from Walmart, I don't remember how much they cost but it wasn't much, they worked great.

Ive been hunting the early season with a fan for yours and havent had a problem yet. I think because the noise is constant it doesn't bother them much.

I bought one from Academy that runs on D cell batteries it has a dc adapter on the side so I made a cord so that I could run it off a 12v deer feeder battery which last longer and can be recharged. I don't use it for hunting I do use it in my tent when I camp. It would do the job for you though and it is not too loud.

Go to amazon or your local hardware store, get a solar powered attic fan and screw it into where the vent is on top. Itll draw in enough air to keep you from dying through the windows for minimal work/maintenance

A while back, I found a solar powered fan that was made to put in chicken coops. It was on a website that sold stuff specifically for raising poultry. And it was pretty cheap too. I remember when I saw it, my first thought was "Wow - that would be really good to install just under the eave of a deer blind. Pretty sure it had a solar panel and would basically run all day until the sun sets.

Sounds like you didn't have enough cold beer in the stand cooler. Am I the only one with a lucky stand cooler?
