Congratulations but I have to ask since I grew up down here and had many friends with homes at Magnolia and Alamo Beach...
Our must haves were water views, all utilities already on site, trees, and be protected from storms.
Too bad Fannie's isn't still there and open. That had to be the best seafood between Houston and Corpus.
Case in point are the pictures my Dad took before and after Hurricane Carla of Indianola and the mouth of Powderhorn Ranch just down the road from you.
Anyway again, congratulations, Magnolia beach is a great place with a decent beach and good fishing right off of the beach but safe from storms it is not.Last edited by Tx_Wader; 09-19-2017, 02:14 PM.

We actually faired very well during Harvey. The entire town did. Being anywhere near the coast you roll the dice though.
Thanks for the skinny bud. We are @ 15' above sea level, the places you named on the other side of the peninsula are 2-3' above normal tide levels at best.
