Looking for dove hunt to work my lab in Waco'ish area

Hey guys,

I have an 11 month old lab that I just got back from my trainer this past week and we have hunted hard since opening morning. 7 hunts so far and he is doing great! Only problem is I've been all over McLennan and Falls county and we just don't have any birds for me to really get him good work on. I'm looking to see if someone within an hour or so of Waco who has some birds would allow me to come join for a hunt or two, it's perfectly ok if I cannot shoot, I am really just looking for the opportunity to work my pup to get in some good real life work before duck season rolls in. I have not- but I've got access to private land around lake Waco in China Spring..... Same deal just not any birds....

Have not heard any reports about the lake public land but will see what I can find out.

Up top as I'm sitting here in a field in Robinson, celebrating a beautiful birthday morning, with my best friend who wasn't even born yet last year...... lol. Wishing we had some birds. Loving every second of life I get out here- birds or none.
