Has anyone ever made a blind out of closed cell spray foam insulation? It appears thats what the nature blinds consist of. Not exactly but.... I think it could work? Curious to see if anyone has tried it.

I hunted a small property once with a guy who made some pit blinds out of the regular 2 part expanding foam. He framed up a mold pattern out of wood and would lay chicken wire in it the fill with expanding foam. He left the chicken wire a little long and would lace the wire together of 4 panels to make a dome. He then would dig a hole so you could actually sit on the ground with your feet in the hole and he had 2 shoot through mesh windows built into 2 panels. They appeared to work just fine and were a few years old and holding up fine in the weather.

I was thinking make a form of some sort, plywood and wire mesh then spray it. You would be left with panels you can piece together? Or maybe a cattle panel in a circle with some paneling or really thin plywood on the inside of the blind to help hold the foam while its curing. The plywood and paneling could be bent in same circle as cattle panel and wired to the inside. Im not real sure but Im definitely interested in the idea

I'm in the foam business and have one I sprayed with 3 lb closed cell and coated with our acrylic roof coating. The problem I have ran into is bird pecks. We run into these problems on some roofs but the blind I build got absolute pecked to heck. Now I just foam all of mine inside with 2 lb.
