Any TBHer have any inside information on when they will get back to normal, I know they shut down for the flood in Houston, but I never would have thought that the US Postal Service would be quicker then UPS but right now they are.

We ship out packages every day with FedEx. FedEx finally showed up last Friday. I ask him how many employees had come back to work and he told me 20%. It could be a year before everything really gets back to normal .....

Just got an email from Amazon based on UPS deliveries being delayed. :

We encountered a delay in shipping your order. We apologize for the inconvenience. Since your packages were delayed. we're refunding the shipping charges for your entire order.

Here is something funny, I live in Hondo which is west of SA and the nearest UPS hub is in Uvalde 40 miles further west. The Friday before Harvey hit the coast the sun was shining here. My package which came from Austin was on the truck out for delivery in my home town and they called all the trucks in at 3pm because the threat of severe weather????? OMG I had a cow called the UPS number they said we will send them a message I said they are not there oh ya they are!! idiots!! I can understand the guys that were actually in the line of the storm but 100 of miles away. Fedex was still delivering even the next day on saturday.

Yep UPS is scamming everyone right now. We ship UPS and FEDEX from my shop in Houston everyday. FedEx was back up and running Thursday UPS Friday about 50% from what the drivers said. I ordered something the other from Gun Dog Supply 2nd day and I got a message today saying due to the hurricane it's being delayed. That is BS!!!!!

They really ticked me off this week. I had a bunch of employees affected by the hurricane and our company has an assistance program for them. I had checks for 27 employees overnighted last Thursday and they are lost in the system. I understand a delay but no excuse not to have them by Tuesday or Wednesday. Just had all the checks cancelled and sending a new batch out fedex.
