    59S from Lufkin to Houston

Has that gotten back to normal yet? Is George Bush Airport back up to speed? I have to fly out of Houston next Tuesday and I need to see if I am going to have to make alternate plans- the sooner the better.

I was at my lease last Sunday in Corrigan. I drove 59 from 242 in Splendora to just North of Corrigan and the roads where fine. Not all the way but the best I can do.

You should be good on 59. Check with your airline on the flight. Can't imagine any reason why it would still be delayed though.

Drivetexas.org has current real-time road conditions.

Went through IAH on Tuesday and everything was fine, very normal in terms of waits and such. Most of all I would check your airlines web site or call their customer service number. I've read where some airlines are adjusting flights due to hurricane Irma. I think JetBlue capped all flights out of Miami at $99 and I think some others are adding flights to the areas expecting impact.

Monday I drove from Nacogdoches to Houston w no problems. The only sign of damage was to the Railroad Tracks between Cleveland and Splendora.

Thanks for all this. I have a direct flight to Toronto out of IAH Tuesday morning.

I saw that as well. That was a lot of water to wash the rock out from below all that track.
