Just saw where Wal Mart is two timing every dollar the Red Cross receives.Say what you want about wally world,and the Red Cross..But it's a good way for a bunch of money to get to the needy.

They have also sent thousands of trucks with supplies for relief. Furnished supplies for most of the evacuation shelters. They def stepped up.

I think it's all a good idea, but I heard that at one (not sure if this the same at all sites) of the Red Cross sites, they wouldn't let them distribute public donations because the Red Cross didn't fund the donations. They had to box up the public donations and get rid of em. The Red Cross is awesome, but that was I don't think that's right. It won't keep me from helping them out though.
