Big time Texas hunts

    Big time Texas hunts

    Anybody on the green screen ever win anything on the big time Texas hunts or know of anybody that has ? Just called tpwd they said they had somebody spend about 2,000 $ on only 2 categories if more people do that odds sound pretty slim

    It's a good donation to a worthy cause, so if I can afford it at the time I usually will buy a couple tries in each category that I would like to hunt. With 5-10K applicants for the premium hunts, it looks like a good way to lose quite a bit of money without any guarantee of winning.

    The odds in our Super Tag drawing in Idaho usually run about 1500:1. I have never drawn, but have several friends who spend about $100 and have drawn multiple times.

      More like 2500:1 for the three better odds categories but either way better odds then the Big time hunts

        Yea I might try in a few different states tpwd already gets a good amount from me might try Nevada or something like that

          A few of us have won the Grand Slam.

          I bought 1 ticket. There was around 20,000 tickets.

            41Chevy that is pretty awesome. Looks like the some great animals. Especially the ram and the lope!

              I put in every year. maybe one year I will luck out.

              I think we have had more than a couple winners. Shane won a desert bighorn hunt, and britton won the grandslam in 2010 or 2011. One or two others have won the desert bighorn as well. Overall, this board has been well represented in the big time hunts.

                  Deer hunts in December, Bighorn in May, and goat in September if I remember correctly. Had a Lot of meat that year.
