Our house like a lot of people got whacked with about 6 foot of water. The water was too high to do anything so I took the airboat, went to Cinco Ranch and started hauling folks out. Helicopters, boats, volunteers you name it. I was awe struck at the response. I'd say black, white, hispanic, asian, it didn't matter, we got it right.

It is good people like you that make me proud to be a Texan. They were talking about this on one of the big news stations last night. All the newscasters were blown away by the incredible acts of kindness by people like yourself. There you are, house and possessions pretty much ruined and you decide to go out and help others. That says a lot about a man. Thank you for doing what you do. Good people like you made the Texas star shine in the face of incredible adversity. Hope this provides the rest of the nation with a lesson on how to treat our fellow man.

That is so true! You suffered a great loss and STILL went to help. You sir...well...God just grins when people like you show the rest of us what it's all about. Honestly, people like you amaze me. I know you don't want a pat on the back but I be danged if you don't deserve one. Awesome sir. Just freaking awesome.
