59/69 Between Nacogdoches and Lufkin

For those coming down 59 between Nacogdoches and Lufkin watch out for the road. They have been working on the road and the excess water seems to be causing it to come apart. Vehicles are getting stopped on the side of the road because of tar and rock build up on their tires.

They have shut down the entire loop around Lufkin. Find alternative routes. It's a parking lot on 59 right now

*East Loop, the west side of the loop is still open. The loop is closed from 59N around the east side to 59S

Watch out in town as people have coated the whole town with tar. Every tire and body shop in Lufkin and Nac is covered up with business and there are tons on really ****** people

This is a FACT! My step daughter has so much on her tires it is locking them up. Brand new white car.....covered with tar..

I saw a guy at Walmart earlier and the entire front of his car was coated. It stuck to the fender and ripped it halfway off too. Start to finish it's been the ****tiest roadwork job I've ever seen. Before this it was dodging loose gravel the whole way around town.
