I think this just shows how narrow the gap is between supply and demand under normal times. Doesn't take much to really cause problems.

A whole bunch of it panic. Everybody and their mother in law is filling up every vehicle and gas can they own. Long lines because of rumors and Facebook posts. Where I'm at, it's business as usual. Y'all north Texas folks went into a panic. It's self induced Supply dwindling.

I was thinking the same thing. If the fuel problem persists, eventually it will affect delivery trucks to grocery stores and whatnot as well I'd imagine.

All but 2 stations are out in Decatur. It is now time to panic! I fear large protests on the courthouse square. Possible looting around Fuzzys Tacos, Roosters and Sweetie Pies. I am locked and loaded.

These stations aren't being restocked at normal intervals. Something else is going on. People average what 1 or 2 time a week fill up? We are only talking about an extra day or two at most of extra capacity even for panic buying. That should create an oversupply very quickly. Most people only have their vehicle tank and maybe a can or 2.
