who has them an what is your opinion? looking at the 10X42 or 10X50, always have had 10X42 so i am worried the 50s might be to big an bulky.

I have the 10x50s. They are a bit heavier but not much bulkier. Noticeably brighter than the 10x42s though.

I have both. Used the 10x50 last year for 3d and hunting. They are noticeably bigger than the 10x42. I bought the 10×42 this spring and use them for 3d and a few hunting trips so far. Lighter and a little more compact make them a better choice for toting around. Kept the 10x50s for stand hunting.

Have the 10x42 and use them for 3D, deer hunting in texas and glassing the NM mountains and valleys for muley and elks. Clear, good light gathering, dependable, and compact. The only advantage to the 50's would be better light gathering at Dusk/Dawn. I'd rather have the 42 cause by time I couldn't see through bino it's too dark to shoot either way, unless I'm gonna sit in a blind in use them there only and not have to carry the 50's all day.
